What happened in:

Despite the glorious Indian Summer, thoughts are turning to Christmas arrangements here at the Kitchen Garden, with produce and presents to make, artists and craftmakers to organize, and orders to place, if everything is to be ready in time for Christmas Shopping from Friday, November 30th till Sunday, December 9th. Visitors are welcome between 10 and 5.

Penelope Hands and I are also holding a day course on Tuesday November 27th showing how to make decorations using leaves, seedheads and berries collected from the garden, and presents made from produce harvested from garden and hedgerow. There will be plenty of opportunity to taste our efforts and a three course lunch with wine. Those interested should send a cheque for £75.00 made out to the Kitchen Garden, which will reserve a place. Numbers are limited, so book early. For further information see Courses or phone 01359 268 322.
